Are there any Kickstarter-exclusive items in this campaign?
We’ve deliberately chosen not to make any game content outright unavailable to folks who miss the Kickstarter. Nothing sucks worse than to find out you can’t get something at all because you missed a Kickstarter!
This is why all stretch goals affect all pledge levels, as they’re designed to make the game more awesome for everybody.
Some items in this campaign will not be available through retail, however. House Bylerum is a Crafty Games exclusive and will likely be available later, though only to customers who buy directly from us.
The Prestige Edition and its special content and bonuses are available to retailers but only through this campaign - by upgrading sets as described in the retail tier.
Promo cards will be available outside the campaign, but acquiring them later will require jumping through many more hoops than acquiring them during the campaign.

How will the Prestige Edition's numbered plates be allocated?
The first 50 or so will be held back for Brandon, his crew, Crafty Games, and project creators.
All other plates will be randomly allocated. This means that every Prestige Edition backer will receive a plate numbered at 51 or higher, as randomly determined when boxes are packed for shipping.

What about upgrading components from cardboard to wood!?!
There are a number of reasons we chose not to include wooden component upgrades, and perhaps surprisingly cost is one of the least important of those reasons.
Wood components require multiple expensive tests to ensure they will pass customs codes in countries around the world.
Also, and more importantly, we discovered during playtesting that wood components of the same shape make are hard to differentiate by those with color blindness and other vision impairments. We would have to create a custom shaped component for each resource, which is beyond the scope of the project at this time.
Heavy-duty cardboard components solve all these problems in a single go, which is why we decided to go with those instead.

If I am subscribed to the Crafty Games Newsletter and back this campaign, how many Malatium dice do I get?
You will receive one (1) Malatium die with each copy of the game you receive via the Kickstarter campaign.
To confirm eligibility, backer email addresses will be compared to the newsletter list when we close down the pledge manager for this project (just before we ship your rewards to you).

Do all backers get their copies of Mistborn: House War sent at the same time?
Yes. All backers at all levels will be sent their copies of Mistborn: House War at the same time. Then, and only then, we will start soliciting sales through our distribution partners. This means that all backers (including retailer backers) should have Mistborn: House War at least one month before any other non-backer has a copy.

I am a Prestige Backer and already own a copy of the Mistborn Adventure Game Digital Edition. May I choose another PDF?
Yes. We didn’t plan to do this from the start, but enough people have asked about it that we’ve decided to allow you to choose any Mistborn Adventure Game PDF from the following list: Mistborn Adventure Game, Terris: Wrought of Copper, Skaa: Tin & Ash and Alloy of Law.
Note that Alloy of Law II is not on that list. The book will not be ready until next year, so we are only making available the titles listed above.

Shipping costs in BackerKit
The shipping costs in BackerKit are conservative estimates. If we can do anything to reduce costs we will update things to the lower rate before charging people. If it’s possible to lower rate then the initial shipping fee, you will only be charged for the best rate.

Last Updated At: 09/01/16What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
